Parking Vehicles

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Minotaur Village and the City of Lafayette requires that all of your vehicles are properly and legally tagged for operation, and legally parked.  If your vehicle obstructs a sidewalk, fire hydrant, or is parked in someone else’s Reserved Parking, your vehicle may be tagged, towed, and a fine assessed by the HOA and the Lafayette Police Department.  Even if you’re trying to squeeze your vehicle into your assigned space and the tail overhangs the sidewalk, you may be cited for a violation.  This is especially important on snow days when our landscaping and snow removal company would be unable to properly clear the sidewalks.  There is little leniency on this issue, so save yourself the headache and expense and park appropriately.

General Use Parking

The Non-Reserved Parking areas are designated for the daily in-and-out use. The Non-Reserved Parking may not be used for Long-Term Parking of any vehicle, recreational vehicle, trailer, boat, or camper. Parking vehicles for more than 14 days without in-and-out use is considered long term parking and must be removed. This rule may not be evaded by moving the vehicle from one parking space to another or by turning the vehicle around in the same space.

Vehicles, campers, recreation vehicles, boats, and trailers violating the rules stated will be subject to towing, without notice, and at the owner’s expense.
