Boulder County’s Household Hazardous Waste program provides free disposal to residents of Boulder County. Hazardous materials shall not be place in the trash containers or recycle bins. Used motor oil, batteries, paint, and the like shall not be disposed of in the dumpster. Hazardous material shall be properly disposed of by the Resident. You can dispose of your hazardous materials at Boulder Counties' facility. Checker Auto on South Boulder Road and South Public Road in Lafayette accepts used motor oil.
