Pet Waste Management

Pet waste can become serious problem at Minotaur Village and Board is  enforcing the Covenants and Rules and Regulations in order to rein in this issue.

During our winter storms, some owners have neglected to clean up after their pets. Thank you to those residents who responsibly collect their pet waste as is required in our Covenants and Rules and Regulations. Special appreciation goes out to those who have picked up more than their share in order to clean up our development.

Unfortunately, there are some that allow pets to eliminate off their leash, and do not collect their waste. In a small community such as ours, issues such as this are of critical importance for a number of reasons; safety of residents and their pets, and keeping a sanitary environment for others. There are several posts within our community with pet waste bags that are for you to use. This service has incurred additional costs for the clean up and waste removal.

Please keep your pet on a leash when it is on the grounds and be vigilant about cleaning up after it.  Dog attacks can happen even if your beleive your dog would never bite someone, so it is important to be especially considerate regarding this.

Under no circumstances shall any pet be tethered to any tree, shrub or any structure on the Common Area which would permit it access to any area outside any resident’s limited common ground. Dogs may not be left out on the balcony or patio . Dog houses are not to be kept on the balcony or patio. All pets shall be restrained from making loud or annoying noises at any time or place.

Failure to abide by the Covenants and Rules will result in fines.  Please look again at our Covenants and Rules and Regulations regarding pets at Minotaur Village, as they go well beyond waste. All owners should have copies of these and they are posted on our website.
