Home Security Tips

Good locks and good neighbors who watch out for each other can be your best protection. Most burglaries can be prevented if you follow a few simple procedures: • Always lock your doors and windows. • Never leave a house key available—under a doormat, in a flowerpot, on the ledges of the door. These are the first places a burglar will look. • If you are going on vacation, call upon a friend or neighbor to keep an eye on your place. • Keep your garage door closed when it is unoccupied.

Vehicles

Vehicles that are inoperable, trailers, and campers cannot be stored in the driveways or common area parking. These spaces are for vehicles that are used on a daily basis. Property Insurance

The Association’s policies do not provide coverage for repairs or replacements in interiors of individual units. To protect yourself as a homeowner, you should purchase a condominium owner’s policy that includes not only loss assessment coverage but also personal property coverage that will cover the replacement of carpets, drapes, movable appliances, furniture, and real property improvements. Consult with your insurance agent for appropriate coverage.
